CLASS DESCRIPTION — Visual Methods & Processes is a studio class, teaching the basic concepts of two dimensional design. This course focuses on design process, methodologies, and communication theories in order to foster the relationship between content and meaning.

Exercises in visual analysis, figure-ground, spatial concepts and compositional dynamics will also play a large part of the course studies. Students are introduced to design methods (research, brainstorming/ideation and project development).
